The government of North Cyprus has confirmed that the long-acting unofficial ban on foreign nationals to receive Turkish title deed for property has been lifted. Buyers of property in Northern Cyprus that have been denied in receiving Turkish title deed can reapply to the ministry. Ministry of Northern Cyprus has decided to allow foreign property owners to receive Turkish title deeds. Official law banning foreign citizens from receiving Turkish title deed for their property have never existed, but more than 90% of the Turkish title deeds were refused to international buyers.
