"Turkey does not oppose to exchanging Maras for international flights to Ercan "

"Turkey does not oppose to exchanging Maras for international flights to Ercan "

Turkey is not against the transfer of Marash to Southern Cyprus, in exchange for direct flights to and from Ercan Airport. So says the politician involved in the negotiation of the Southern Cyprus Andreas Mavroiannis. He spoke prior to his visit to Ankara and Athens, which he makes with the Assistant to the President TRNC Osman Ertug, next Tuesday. He said the visit would enable him to meet his counterparts in Turkey, and for both parties to share their views on the upcoming negotiations. "We have to be parallel with Turkey on every issue" - said Mr. Mavroiannis .
