All drone flights and air sports activities, except for those with special permits, are prohibited from 05:45 on Wednesday, July 17, until 19:59 on Saturday, July 20, announced the Civil Aviation Department of the Ministry of Public Works and Transportation in a NOTAM. The Department stated, "Due to the show to be conducted by the Turkish Stars as part of the July 20th Peace and Freedom Day celebrations, all drone flights and air sports activities, except for those with special permits, are prohibited from 05:45 on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, until 19:59 on Saturday, July 20, 2024. This prohibition was announced to aviators in the NOTAM published by SHD on July 15, 2024."
