On Monday, the tourism ministers agreed on new security measures at the Alagadi beach. From now on lifeguards, as well as watchtower will be present on the beach. New proposal has been approved by the municipality of Esentepe, and Marine Turtle Conservation project. Alagadi beach remains to be one of the largest nesting places for sea turtle in Northern Cyprus.
