 Petrol Price Rise in North Cyprus

On Wednesday, July 24, petrol prices in North Cyprus rose by 16 kurus. Diesel and paraffin however remained at the same price. Euro diesel now costs 3.44 Turkish lira per liter, 95 petrol 3.29 lira, 97 petrol - 3.45 liras per liter. Mehmet Coskun, head of fuel department in the TRNC Ministry of Economy, said the increase in petrol prices was due to the high priceof the dollar and fluctuations in the money markets.
