Fruits and vegetables of Northern Cyprus were presented at the trade fair in Berlin. Manufacturers and officials of TRNC visited the capital of Germany this week for Fruit Logistica, which was held from 6th to 8th of February. The annual exhibition is one of the largest of its kind, and provides a full range of fruit and vegetables. Due to warm Mediterranean climate, North Cyprus is growing a variety of vegetables and fruits, and citrus fruits not only provide for home market of Cyprus, but are also exported to Turkey. In 2013, the government of Northern Cyprus is planning to visit more than 35 international exhibitions of various kinds, but with a common goal - to draw attention to the country and to increase tourism of TRNC, which is expected to rise by 40,000 people during this year.
