MInimum wage in Northern Cyprus has increased


The minimum wage in Northern Cyprus has been raised by more than 7%. The new minimum wage was set to 1675 TL rising from 1560 TL. However, trade unions have expressed their dissatisfaction with the salary increase of 7.37%, stating that the minimum monthly salary should be at least 2,000 Turkish Liras.
