According to the telecommunications center, Internet speed will increase in 10 times in some parts of Northern Cyprus, as part of the million project. The tender for the installation of fiber optic cable, which can provide internet speed of 20 to 40 megabits per second, has already begun. TRNC government has already allocated 1.8 million Turkish Liras for the project, and, if necessary, promises to provide additional funds.
