According to the new regulation, people can spend their quarantine periods of 10-14 days (depending on the country from which they come from), at the specified residential addresses, provided that they provide their address of residence in North Cyprus and download the “Stay Safe App Application "before arrival. It was said that upon arrival, people will travel to the specified addresses of their residence, to which they have pledged to spend periods of quarantine, alone or in the company of a driver, or by public transport, taxis, tourist minibuses authorized by the Ministry of Finance. It was stated that people over 65 and those who have traveled abroad for health reasons can download the Safe Stay App after they arrive in the country.

“People who do not follow the rules of home quarantine are recommended to be sent to central quarantine, they will pay the quarantine fees themselves and criminal cases will be initiated against them in accordance with the relevant legislation.

People who have come into contact with a person infected with the coronavirus and who require quarantine will be quarantined for 10 days. After 10 days, if the result of the PCR test in the contact persons is negative, the isolation periods will be terminated.

It is considered necessary to take passengers on flights to be organized in our country, with a maximum number of flights of 6 per day and a maximum of 200 people per flight, and a maximum of 2 flights per day and 75 people on operating ships.

Due to the increase in the number of cases in India, Brazil, the Netherlands, Nigeria, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Sierra Leone, Cameroon from May 24, 2021 until the second decision, it was decided to stop entering Northern Cyprus. It was deemed appropriate to allow entry into the country for citizens of the TRNC who arrive in our country from the aforementioned countries, provided that they are in quarantine for 14 days.

Hotels that will conduct "domestic tourism" - 4 nights and 5 days for hotel tourism, subject to the use of bracelets on charter flights, are required to sign written contracts. These hotels are not intended for accommodation, nor for restaurants, cafes, etc. In this context, it was considered appropriate to organize a maximum of 8 flights per week for domestic hotel tourism. The hotel staff will repeat the PCR tests every 7 days. Hotel staff can leave the hotel 2 days after customers leave after a negative PCR result.
