The first female will take a temporarily post as prime minister in Northern Cyprus.
Dr. Sibel Siber will serve as prime minister until elections for a permanent candidate on July 28. Yesterday, the president of the parliament and the parties confirmed the nomination of Mrs. Sibel, a married mother of two and a member of the Social Democratic Party of Northern Cyprus.
The names of candidates for prime ministers will be submitted to the President of Northern Cyprus, Dervis Eroglu, until Friday, June 14, 2013.
