Construction of the second phase of Lapta’s walking path has started

Construction of Lapta’s coastal path is continuing, the second phase of the project includes development of the path across the water. The official opening of the first phase will take place next month, as promise officials. The construction of the walk path is to end in summer, just in time for the tourist season, and will provide unique place for walking and leisure for both tourists and locals. The first phase of the project, partly funded by the EU, starts at the border beyween Karsiyaka and Lapta, and ends in the Sardunya bay. The second phase, funded by Turkey, will run along the hotel area of Lapta and will unite with already built part. The entire project’s cost is 3.5 million TL.
