Sunday has became the coldest October day as recorded by the Met office. The air temperature in the capital of the TRNC, Lefkosa dropped to 20.7 degrees Celsius, which is 8 degrees less than the average temperature of the city. In the city of Kyrenia, the air temperature was 22.2 degrees, which is 4.7 degrees below normal temperatures for October. The Met Office said that a cold snap was short-lived, and the air temperature is expected to rise to the usual for October 28-31 degrees Celsius.
