Carnival in Lefkosa

In honor of celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Near East University, the capital of Northern Cyprus, Lefkosa, on Sunday of May 18, will host a carnival.

The event promises to be a colorful and memorable experience for adults and children. On the main street of the capital, Dereboyu, the road will be closed to traffic and the event will kick of 4PM with performances by illusionist, magician and music band. At 7PM dance groups will perform. Carnival will be accompanied by colorful costumes and cars, magicians, clowns and music.
