The Ministry of Health announced on Tuesday an update to the rules allowing entry into Northern Cyprus in relation to the Covid-19 situation.

On this basis, passengers arriving from a country belonging to Group A will be able to enter North Cyprus after presenting a negative PCR test, which was performed three days before their departure.

Group B countries must complete a PCR test 72-120 hours prior to travel to North Cyprus and will only be allowed to enter the country if the test is negative, and this will be the second test on admission.

Travelers from the UK will have to undergo a PCR test 72-120 hours before traveling to Northern Cyprus and will only be allowed to enter the country if the test is negative, before that they will be quarantined for 7 days.

Citizens of other Group C countries must take a PCR test 3-5 days prior to boarding and will be allowed to enter North Cyprus if the test is negative. These people will undergo a second test upon arrival in the country and will remain quarantined for 14 days in quarantine centers designated by the Ministry of Health.
