Museum of archeology and nature, which is located in the city center of Guzelyurt, was opened in 1979, after the restoration of the building. On the ground floor of the museum there is department of natural history, where visitors can see the stuffed animals and birds, as well as unique examples of various rocks and specimens of flora and fauna found in Cyprus.
On the first floor there are exhibits of the Neolithic, Bronze and Iron Ages, as well as artifacts found during excavations in the ancient cities of Soli and Vouni, including gold wreaths found in Soli in 2005. Museum rooms are numbered and each of them offer exhibits devoted to a specific time for the island and its historical past. Ancient bracelets and gold jewelry, treasures found in Soli, and other artifacts are displayed here. Many exhibits are dated the fourth or fifth centuries BC.
