How can I fly to North Cyprus?

North Cyprus can be reached by flying to one of the South Cyprus’ airports (Paphos or Larnaca) and then cross over to the north side, or to North Cyprus’ airport – Ercan. You don’t need a priory obtained visa to North Cyprus, tourist visa at the passport control will be received. Length of tourist visa can vary from a few days to 3 months. All the airplanes flying to North Cyprus must stop in Turkey. There is a variety of airlines flying to North Cyprus to choose from – Turkish Airlines, that fly from major airports worldwide, Onur Air, that fly from the UK, and Pegasus Airlines. Airport Ercan is 30 minute drive from the capital – Lefkosa, 40 minutes from both Kyrenia and Famagusta. Flight from Istanbul to Ercan takes one hour, from Antalya 30 minutes.
